I often joke as I (again...and again) put on my ancient (2008?) Old Navy floral a-line but here we are and I love that it still works.

Mine is the Doen Joan dress in a heritage soft brown calico dye, sheer, floaty, soft yet confident in style . A dress that’s not too girly perfect for layering in various ways. In it,I feel like I’m in a period drama (Joan of arc, minus the heat tho!) translates between Paris and Provence. City to countryside. Purchased as pre loved.

My favorite white button down was less than $20 from Target but I still keep reaching for it year after year! I think it’s about the simplicity and the classic nature of it like you mentioned. I’ve been thinking a lot about the sustainability of holding on to things we have vs buying new. So even though I’d rather buy something more ethical now, I know keeping it until it no longer serves me is still a great step.

Yes I’ve had the same thoughts about fast fashion and making it last etc. I don’t think it’s always as black and white as social media makes it seem. I’m so pleased you’re still loving and wearing your beautiful white shirt ❤️

I have a winter coat that I’ve had at least 15 years, and I believe it’s the longest-owned item that I have. It’s a chocolate brown and it’s made of corduroy, and I just love it! 🤎
