What’s been adding value in May
Is it ever just sex? Decorating small spaces to feel bigger and how to achieve timeless style
Hello you!
Before we dive in I wanted to give you the heads up our usual virtual co-working Time to Bloom session has been postponed until next week because of my moving apartments. It will be on Sunday 9 June at 6pm Paris time. You can click here for the link on the day and I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
Back to today…
Summer is (supposed to be) here and I’ve got all the essentials for a dreamy summer romance listed below. This is everything I’ve been loving in May I think you’ll enjoy too.
The Chanel style principles is a cute coffee table style quick practical read I picked up in a bookshop recently. It’s a great guide to classic, timeless less but better style. There’s a really good section on dressing for your body shape in there as well as tips on choosing the right colours for your skin tone.
Is Ever Just Sex? is a bizarre and sometimes disturbing but equally interesting read. As someone surrounded by hookup culture I found diving into the psychology behind what drives us to have sex and the differences between men and women fascinating. I didn’t agree with everything he said but it gave me a lot to think about.
Hello Beautiful is a beautiful story about life, family and love. The perfect summer read I’d say. It’s chunky but easy on the eyes or ears depending on how you like to consume your books. It tells the story of four sisters and the men in their lives, how their relationships change with age as well as children. The writing is poetic and clever.
Lucy Williams’ rituals over routines offers a breath of fresh air when it comes to that girl routines and the 5am club. I love Lucy’s fellow Aquarian you do you approach to life.
