Hello you!

January is officially over! Happy about that? Or, like me will you miss it a little? January is the month I spend reflecting, resting as much as possible and laying foundations for the year to build on. It’s also my birthday month so the new year never feels like it’s truly started until then. Putting too much pressure on ourselves too soon is a quick recipe for demotivation, overwhelm and burnout. I hope you’ve been kind to yourself this month and you’re starting to feel settled into 2024 now.

It hasn’t been a big month of consumption for me but these are the things that have added value over the last few weeks.

Reads

Divine Feminine Energy was my first read of the year. An obvious choice with this being the word I’m living alongside for 2024 . Listens

This Goop podcast episode with Ekhate Tolle who wrote The Power Of Now blew my mind. I loved his idea of using mini meditations throughout the day to slow down and be more present. His book is now on my to read list.

This Diary of a CEO podcast with Esther Perel was take notes worthy in terms of love and relationships. Her words ‘we fall for those who express the parts of ourselves we don’t want to deal with’ are still echoing in my head.
