What added value in September
heartfelt advice, music to transcend your soul and a shoe brand for timeless classics
Hello you!
Where did September go? Seriously! Maybe it was all that second new year energy but I don’t feel like I’ve had a minute. I hope yours felt slower than mine. My head has been focused on finding a new apartment in Paris which feels like a full time job. Still, there’s been lots of value adding goodness I want to share with you.
Here come the recommendations…
Books
We’ll always have summer - It’s not my usual pattern to read the third part of a trilogy first but I couldn’t resist the title or summary of this book when it popped up on my audible recommendations. The series is available to watch on Amazon Prime and I hear great things but I haven’t seen it yet.
Tom Lake - Anne Patchett has been a favourite writer of mine for years now, ever since I read her this is the story of a happy marriage and Tom Lake is no exception. Her storytelling skills are incredible and the way she writes about love is the perfect balance of romance and emotional realism we can all relate to.
Reads
Nobody can steal your creativity - is a beautiful piece written by my dearest friend Cait Flanders. I love the way she shares her vulnerability in this piece and reminds us that our creativity is intrinsic to who we are.
