What added value in October
An intense writing challenge to free up your creativity, reframing rejection and starting your day like a ballerina
Hello you!
I’m back in Paris now and it feels sooooooo autumnal. The leaves are golden, the air is crisp and if you’re in need of outfit inspiration I just posted an autumn capsule wardrobe outfits vlog over on YouTube.
October was travel heavy with my trip to South Africa, but there was still plenty of value adding gems I want to share with you.
Body work was recommended to me and isn’t the usual kind of novel I’d usually choose but I enjoyed something different and if you like crime stories I think you’ll love it. The writing and plot are very clever with an ending I didn’t see coming.
Intermezzo is the novel I’ve been most looking forward to reading this year and I finally dove on in this month. It’s wonderful, though be warned Sally Rooney can do little wrong in my eyes. The way she holds you in her intense, thoughtful yet simple prose is nothing short of poetic magic.
Manifest is a book I read and recommended to you earlier this year but I revisited it this last month and I’m so glad I did. It’s easy to whizz through a book, especially self-improvement and think we’ve ingested all the necessary information, but sometimes a few reads are required - especially when you’re in a different place in your life. It was interesting to notice how less awkward and cringey it felt to me this time, having become an avid believer in manifestation this year.
