As promised I’m going to run another writing class this summer. Last year’s was a huge success with some of you still talking about how much you enjoyed it all these months later.

Our sessions will run over the next four weeks and I’ve designed the program to help you master the craft of writing and develop your unique voice. We’ll be dipping into both non-fiction and fiction techniques for a seasonal blend.

Program Overview:

• Duration: Four weeks, starting 11 August 2024

• Sessions: Weekly one-hour live sessions every Sunday at 6pm (London time)

• Platform: Substack and live sessions via Zoom

Highlights to look forward to:

• Interactive Live Sessions: Each week, we'll gather for a live session featuring writing exercises, reading aloud, and feedback.

• Blending Techniques: Learn how to integrate the imaginative storytelling elements of fiction with the factual grounding of non-fiction to craft engaging narratives that captivate readers.

• Creative Assignments: Weekly writing assignments designed to help you practice and apply what you've learned in both fiction and non-fiction contexts.

• Community Support: Connect with fellow writers and receive constructive feedback and encouragement.

Whether you’re an aspiring novelist, journalist, essayist or just want to write more creative journal entries this program is designed to enhance your writing skills by teaching you how to seamlessly blend the creative elements of fiction with the informative aspects of non-fiction. The goal is to firstly have fun and explore our creativity together over the summer but also equip you with the tools to create rich, compelling stories that resonate with readers and offer a unique perspective.
