Hello you!
Today is my last work day of 2022. I’ve deleted social media apps for two weeks to reset my brain and withdrawal symptoms aside I’m already noticing myself feeling more present. Vlogmas ended up being 12 days this year, half the length it should be - but hey, I felt done and I purposely didn’t want to do it perfectly this year. It’s okay to take the pressure off, to do things your own way and feel your way through one day at a time. Last year I needed the distraction of making daily vlogs right up to Christmas Eve, but this year I feel the need to settle into the emotional rollercoaster and feel all the emotions that Christmas brings.
Before I sign off for 2022 I wanted to share a few things you might be interested in reading / trying over the Christmas break if you’re also the type who likes taking some time to reflect, connect with your intuition and set some intentions for 2023. This is what I’ll be doing. I also wanted to share a few bits I’ve written about keeping Christmas simple and meaningful over the years.
Past blog posts I’ve written about Christmas
Tiny changes you can make to simplify Christmas
A Christmas to do list when it isn’t the most wonderful time of year for you

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas however you’re spending it. 2022 will always be the year my first book was published and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s bought a copy, given it to a loved one, left a review, shared it online or sent me a message to let me know it helped them in some way or made them feel seen. If this was you, from the bottom of my heart thank you - you made my dream come true.
I’ll be back in your inboxes in January after a much needed rest. I already know substack is going to be my main focus next year and I’m so excited for where this community is headed in 2023. We’re just getting started! Thank you so much for being here and for all the love and support this year - it’s meant the absolute world to me.
Merry Christmas!
Lots of love
